White Tortoise Eco villas is a secluded and boutique eco stay (adults only) on the southwestern Bukit peninsula that mixes traditional Indonesian design with modern-day luxury and high standards.
Amidst a lush garden, the elevated position of the 5 villas with their own private pools and sundecks offer our guests a truly unique and tranquil 180-degree view over the area and the distant ocean.
Situated at the bottom of the resort our authentic bamboo restaurant offers a la carte deluxe breakfast (free), lunch, and diner, all made fresh daily by our amazing Javanese chef.
We have small super friendly guard dog, named Maya, at the resort.

White Tortoise Eco Villas is perfectly located in a green zone between the pristine beaches of the Bukit (PadangPadang 3 min ride or Bingin 6 min ride), the must see Pura Lahur Temple in Uluwatu (10 min ride) and the main road with all its dining and shopping options (3 min ride). The main airport is 45 min away.

What's 'eco' about us?
-we're situated in a green zone
-our villas are either made from reclaimed wood, local and legally cut hardwoods or other natural and local building materials such as bamboo and alang alang grass
-we collect and re-use rainwater
-we filter our used water and re-use it or send it clean back into the ground
-we use locally and organically grown products for our food
-we try to avoid plastic as much as possible
-we participate in local cleanups and other local environmental/community projects
-we separate all our trash
-our guard dog is a little stray that we adopted :-)
We're not claiming to be 100% green but we try to do as much as possible to find a healthy balance between environmental consciousness and comfortable living. We are always open for suggestions.
